In 2016, the National Academies (formerly the Institute of Medicine, IOM) published the report below on eye and vision care relative to the nation’s population health.  I was honored to have been invited to serve as a member of the Committee on Public Health Approaches to Reduce Vision Impairment and Promote Eye Health that developed and authored the report from 2014 to 2016.
